Cellular phones are an easy and relatively inexpensive solution to telephoning. We do recommended that students have a cell phones during their time at Santa Reparata for security and convenience. Students can either choose to use their current wireless provider, if they have one. Or they can choose to rent a cellular phone through “Platform 3000” a local Florentine rental agency.

You can order your phone in advance and have it delivered to your U.S. address, or you can pick it up upon arrival in Florence.If you choose to have your cellular phone sent to your home address it will be sent by airmail. By having it sent to your home address you will have the added security of having your phone while you travel. You will also have your number to give out to your family and friends before you leave.
