Printmaking: relief prints, intaglio prints, non-acid techniques monoprints, and collograph.

The approach of printmaking at Santa Reparata includes low-tech process such as relief prints, intaglio and monotype, combined with the most advanced digital and photomechanical processes. Students are encouraged to build on prior experiences in printmaking and learn new processes in order to develop your personal approach to image making.

Students must have attended at least one printmaking semester and should be able to present a portfolio with original prints. Different themes will be suggested based on individual choices and discussed in class.

Exercises, slides lectures and demonstrations, individual and group critiques will supplement the lessons.
